Available Mid-January! Creative A-Lines jumpers and sundresses sizes 3 mos. to 3 years in one pattern pattern #p156 An easy pattern with many variations . . . Create a jumper or a sundress. Fronts can be attached to a yoke (smocked and gathered variations) or flat with no yoke. Front tops can be straight or curved and folded over (for contrasting fabric accent). Additional options include pockets and a sash. Directions written so many favorite smocking designs can be adapted to garments. A-Lines have linings that create a self-slip making reversible garments a possibility.  |

The latest addition to our traditional design plate collection, La Petit Fleur, is a fast and easy design of tiny flowers which offers several variations. Photographed in bright pastels, soft pastels and in yellow and white daisies, it also includes directions for creating pansies or poinsettias which can be stitched in place of the tiny flowers.
The Classic Collection introduces Tiny Bubbles, a bright and cheerful fish design with multiple color and garment ideas. (Bubbles can be tiny pearls or seed beads which add extra interest to the design.) An idea for an easy (beginning stacking) variation is photographed (shown below--blue bishop) and color combinations that coordinate with the gingham/fish fabric are included.
Creative Keepsakes is constantly trying to update and add new ideas to our existing product line. The pink fish dress shown on the Tiny Bubbles design plate above was constructed from the 90 Minute Pinafore pattern. The new detachable bib allows this dress to be worn with another favorite coordinating design (smocked, embroidered, etc.) or the dress can be worn without the bib. Instructions for the bib adaptation are available free from Creative Keepsakes.

The popular design plate, Bumble Bees, has been reprinted and now includes a photograph of a bishop garment (constructed from the Bishop Trio pattern). The revised plate includes a suggestion for creating a very fast and easy design--simply by eliminating the bees and allowing the ridges of the backsmocking to create a geometric design. |  |
